Ozawa Maria started her career as Miyabi for the site shirouto-teien.com in June 2005, and was subsequently signed by S1, one of the largest AV makers in Japan. She made her debut as Ozawa Maria in October, 2005. Afterwards, S1 had released a video that featured Maria once per month until February 2007. She has also been a gravure model, and her works include calendar, telephone cards, photobooks and non-sex videos.

In early 2007, Maria's contract with S1 expired. Along with her close friend Aoki Rin, Suzuka Rin and Matsushima Reina, she moved to a new and more hard-core AV maker, Dasdas (DAS). Her first video at Dasdas will be released on April 25, 2007. The videos from Dasdas will contain more violent and explicit sex scenes such as rape, nakadashi, and physical torture.
