Key-A-Kiss (キーヤキッス) was an all-female J-Eurobeat/Disco group produced by Avex Trax. They were active from March 2000 - September 2001.
They got their name from a show they were featured on: "sukiyaki". Sukiyaki spelled backwards in Japanese is "Key-a-kiss" (ki-ya-ki-su).
History
In 2000 Avex Trax held an audition called Avex dream 2000, where they were searching for people who could become the last big star of the 20th century. 120,000 people across the country applicated.
Three girls, NAHOMI, YUKIMI and TOMOMI, where chosen as vocalists to join a new group and was given the name Key-A-Kiss.
